Kid Kit:
a kids cargo system, an innovative add-on for parents
Turn your bicycle into a three wheeled bike to carry child safely. Simply replace its front wheel with the AddBike+ and add our Carry’Box Kid. With the unique and patented AddBike+ tilting system (Curve-Assist: both wheels lean to the side when you take a turn), your bike becomes a handy three-wheeler while staying dynamic.
The AddBike+ is the perfect eco-alternative that turns your normal bike into the perfect family cargo bike.
Add the Carry’Box Kid module to the AddBike+ frame and you will be able to carry your children. There are many possibilities so that everyone can find an option that suits their daily needs. Find our other modules: for dogs (Carry’Dog) or loads (Carry’Box). Make your dynamic three-wheeler your new daily means of transport!

WARNING: The Kid Kit has a tilting wheel system. We therefore don’t recommend it to people who are looking for a stable bike. If that’s what you’re looking for, we recommend the B-Back instead, our accessory for turning your bike into a tricycle.
EASY TO INSTALL
Simply remove your bike’s front wheel and place its fork on our Quick-Fix system which then secures the bike attachment. The AddBike+ has an integrated, ready-to-use high-end brake system. Place the brake lever on your handlebar. You can then keep your old brake lever on or remove it.
ADDBIKE ON ALL BIKES
The AddBike + is designed to be universal and can be fitted to almost any bike available on the market: whether it’s electric assist or not, a mountain bike, a folding bike,… You can therefore turn any bike into a cargo bike or an electric cargo bike to carry kids!
OPTIMISED DRIVING
The AddBike+ has a tilting wheel system, you will therefore be able to make turns just like on a normal bike: this way, you can ride it like a bicycle, while still being able to carry loads. You can also adjust the AddBike+ wheels position making the ride more enjoyable depending on how you use it (“empty” / “loaded”) or your riding preferences.
STABILISE THE ADDBIKE + AT STANDSTILL
By activating the tilt lock on the handlebars, the AddBike+ is stable when at standstill. This makes it easier to load and unload the bike but also to get on and off the saddle.
QUICK LEARNING PHASE
The Curve-Assist system can be adjusted to change the tilting level. So, if you prefer, you can make it less pronounced. This could make it easier to handle when learning to use the product.

The Carry’Box Kid was designed for families who want to make cycling their daily means of transport. Do you want to set the car aside and use a bike ? We have the solution! The AddBike+ fits an array of bikes (see compatibility sheet) and adding the Kid Kit allows you to turn your current bike into a child carrier bike. Even though it was originally designed for an urban environment, this system can also be used on small country roads!
Our child carrier bike (2 years old and up) is quick and easy to install but also uninstall. Its reversible system allows you to turn the three-wheeler bike back into a normal bike in just a few minutes. This system can adapt to everyone’s needs!

Riding
Curve-Assist system
Want to carry loads and still feel like you’re riding a bike? The AddBike+ comes with a clever system: Curve-Assist technology. Both wheels lean to the side when you take a turn (similar to 3-wheel scooters).
These are the pros of our double-patented system:
- When carrying objects or passengers, the wheels will lean to the side during a turn, and the base will stay parallel to the ground in order for them to stay comfortable during the whole ride,
- Thanks to the Curve-Assist system, the wheels tilt differently according to the direction taken. If you turn left, the left wheel will lean farther than the right one. This allows to keep cargo space between the wheels while being agile and dynamic.
After all, the point of the AddBike+ is to carry more!
Riding experience
Riding with an AddBike+ can feel quite different from riding a normal bike as it is similar to a cargo bike which can sometimes take a bit of time getting used to.
If you are a bicycle expert, you will probably get used to riding the AddBike+ on your bike quickly and may not have to practice for long. However, if you are a complete beginner, it may be longer to get used to it (from a few hours to a few days, so get ready to practice!). It all depends on how quick you get used to the new riding sensations the AddBike+ brings!
An important step is finding the perfect riding sensations for you so feel free to adjust the tilting of the Curve-Assist (3 positions) as well as other settings.
Agility vs stability
If you want to keep a bicycle’s dynamism and agility, our Curve-Assist system is a great option. It allows you to do everything you can do with a normal two-wheeled bike, such as riding out of the saddle, making tight U-turns or curve at high speed!
If you are looking for a tricycle-like stability, this isn’t the right option. The AddBike+ adds two wheels to the front of your bike so you would think that it brings more stability, however, it requires as much balance and skill as riding a normal bike. As a result, we don’t recommend the AddBike+ to users who aren’t comfortable on a normal bike or if you have balance and/or motor problems.

16″/20″ adapter
For 16 to 20 inch bikes, you have the possibility to buy an adapter kit :
This kit allows you to install the AddBike + on an 16 to 20 inch bike. It’s made up of an axle, two nuts and two adapters. It replaces the AddBike+’s original axle, which isn’t suitable for 16 to 20 inch bikes.
12 mm thru axle
This kit consists of two adapters and replaces the AddBike+ original ones.
They are used to insert the host bike Ø12mm/0.5″ thru axle (for a centre distance of 100mm/3.9″ to 110mm/4.3″) to install the AddBike +.
15 mm thru axle
This kit consists of two adapters and replaces the AddBike + original ones.
They are used to insert the host bike Ø15mm/0.6″ thru axle (for a centre distance of 100mm/3.9″ to 110mm/4.3″) to install the AddBike +.

Questions and answers
How old does my child have to be to ride in a Kid Kit?
The child just has to be able to sit up on its own (without a car seat). We recommend 2 years old and up.
Up to what age can I put my child on the Kid Kit?
The weight limit is 35 kg / 77 lbs. In order for your child to be comfortably seated, its recommended that the child’s size doesn’t exceed 1m20 / 3.9ft. This means that the maximum age is 6 or 7 years old.
Can I put two children in the module?
Unfortunately no. Our module only has one seat (and one safety device): it is therefor designed for one child. But if you have two children, you can always add at child seat a the back!
