This compact and sturdy electric cargo bike will allow you to get around town daily and peacefully! It is very similar to a EAB and can be tailored to your needs. This compact cargo e bike will be the perfect ally if you live in the city! Its frame and rear rack are modular and allow you to easily transport:
- Up to 2 children by adding maxi or mini child seats to its rear rack. A majority of seats on the market are compatible: Thule, Hamax, Polisport, Décathlon…
- But also your bags, shopping, belongings by adding your own cycling bags or your own transport system.

The U-Cargo Family is the perfect family bike for your daily trips, whether you are a beginner or an experienced cyclist, thanks to its premium features. The U-Cargo Family has all the features the U-Cargo Junior has enhanced by:
- Protech’360: a 360° textile envelope that protects children from their feet to lower back. Its door opens from the outside which means that your children won’t be able to open it when on the move,
- The Switch2Carry allows you to transport your children and then your groceries in no time! It is a textile system that transforms the children’s seat into a storage space. Thus, you can turn your 2-seater electric bike into a simple cargo e bike.

U-Cargo options
You can choose your U-Cargo with the classic configuration including a 522 Wh battery. It is also possible to choose for your long tail electric bike an additional 630 Wh battery to replace your 522 Wh battery.
You can also choose between a standard front basket or a closed waterproof box (to carry a further 20 kg / 44 lbs).

The U-Cargo Lite and Junior are not equipped with a front basket in their classic configuration. You can add the front basket to these two versions and add 20kg/44lbs of load to your bike.
Closed front box
A closed, waterproof box to protect your belongings
The U-Cargo Family is already equipped with a classic front basket, but it is completely possible to change this and opt for this closed box. The U-Cargo Lite and Junior do not have these systems, but you can add this box and transport loads of up to 20 kg / 44 lbs or 60 L / 15 gal protected from the elements.

Questions and answers
How many kg / lbs can I transport at the back and front?
The load capacity of the U-Cargo Family is 80kg / 176 lbs at the back and 20kg / 44 lbs at the front. In its Lite or Junior version, if there is no front basket, only 80 kg / 176 lbs can be transported at the back.
What is the battery life?
It ranges approximately 90 km / 56 miles. It depends on what type of electrical assistance you’ve chosen, how much you use it, and the weight carried. If you regularly use the assistance to its maximum and the bike is always loaded, the range will be less important. There is space for a second battery, allowing longer trips.
If you choose the optional additional 17,5 Ah battery, your range will be about 110 km / 68 miles.
Is the rear rack compatible with child seats?
The U-Cargo Family version has its own child seats (with seat belt). However, for younger children, on whatever type of U-Cargo you choose, you can easily install child seats (Thule, Polisport, Bobike etc…): our rack has the necessary fasteners, many seats are compatible.
How tall should I be to drive a U-Cargo?
The U-Cargo has a low frame and an adjustable saddle: cyclists between 1m50 / 4,9ft and 2m / 6,5 ft can easily ride it.

Home delivery: The U-Cargo is delivered to your home on a suitable pallet. It is assembled and ready to roll. You just have to unpack it.
Technicentre delivery: The U-Cargo is delivered in one of our partner workshops. They will receive it and assemble your U-Cargo. In addition to helping you get started, you will also have technical tips in terms of monitoring and maintenance. We have many partners available. We will give you your referring workshop contact details once you have ordered your U-Cargo.
Free delivery in our premises: You can pick your U-Cargo up at our premises in France (40 rue Decomberousse, 69100 Villeurbanne).
